This is a rare mostly-restored collector car. It has every feature GM had. This is the first year GM had a smart ECU that controls the engine, body lighting, and everything else. It has self-leveling rear air suspension that permits heavy loads of 1800 lbs or towing a heavy trailer. It has an auxiliary transmission cooler and hitch. It is a very reliable family vehicle, a quiet rocket on the highway, and handles very well in snow. The engine runs very smoothly. I have been restoring it as I have time. It is a real head turner a collector's car. People stop me everywhere I go to take a look at it. Kids want their picture taken in the rumble seat. It looks great from 20 feet. The rubber bumpers are all there. I am selling because at age 74 I am not up to working on cars any more. It is time to hand it off to a younger fellow that wants a head-turning car that won't take a lot of work to restore. Mechanically, it is in excellent condition. Mechanically, it is in excellent condition, oil changes every 3000 miles, no leaks, drives like a new car. The 5.7 liter engine has plenty of power to accelerate out of danger when needed. These are very reliable engines. AC converted to R24. New updated ECU, front end completely rebuilt, New exhaust pipes from the engine and mufflers, Driver's seat reupholstered, Windshield wiper motor replaced, new battery, Kumho all-weather tires with 14 tread. It has never been in a major accident. Wheel-well rust of this era fiberglassed and undercoated inside and out. This is a collector car. I will sell only to someone who wants a good family car and who has time and expertise (or money) to finish the restoration work, or a collector who will restore it. I WILL NOT sell to somebody who will use it for hauling and construction. It needs partial repainting, rust repair in a few places, new headliner. and the radio replaced I have a spare one that should work. I can email you detailed info and more photos.
