Very rare and unique van! This camper has undergone surgery from Grease Worx's and had a TDI Diesel conversion completed with a stage 1 build. Recent work was completed including a transmission rebuild, suspension refresh, and several other small odds and ends. Top is in great functioning order along with other system. The Refrigerator was said to have been recently rebuilt as well. Base conversion cost of$13,SOO (adjusted for customer's prep work eng removal. etc). Transmission build: full rebuild/re-gearing by GTA including, rebuilt transmission with 1.08 3rd and .70 4th; limited slip differential (LSD), oiling plates, case/brg reinforcement Engine peripherals: high torque hybrid IDI/G60/WBX clutch kit w/ all new OEM Sachs parts, including pilot and T/O bearing, new/rebuilt Bosch starter, new K03/K04 hybrid turbo, new Bosch STD injectors; used TOI alternator (120A), used TDI AC compressor, used PS pump; misc. used/new TDI engine components (MAF, N7S, Nl8, IAT, oil press. switches, eng temp sensor, etc.). TDI Conversion particulars: Diesel Vanagon mounting hardware for so installation including: 2wd so DV eng carrier bars, used so DV bellhousing, used so DV oil pan, used so DV R engine mounting bracket, new custom TOI Vanagon L engine mounting bracket, new silicone diesel Vanagon hose set (blue); Custom interoooler install with silicone hoses, Saab 9000 intercooler, 8&quot; fan w/press. switch (comes on at 4+ psi); stock Vanagon cruise control stalk installed and cruise controle configured; AC bled, charged and made operational, new receiver/dryer installed.
