In our testing, we’ve found the Kia EV6 is enjoyable enough, surprisingly exciting, or downright audacious. It all depends on which <a href="https://www.kbb.com/compare-cars/results?vehicleIds=476505|476519|476514|476531">trim level</a> you get or, more precisely, which power output and drive configuration you order it in. We’d skip the base EV6 Light RWD model, which has only 167 horsepower and takes over eight seconds to reach 60 mph. That isn’t slow, but it sure isn’t fast, especially for an EV. Stepping up just one trim to the new EV6 Light Long Range RWD rectifies that with a larger battery pack and 225 hp, which enables the zero-to-60-mph scoot in 7.3 seconds. If you opt for all-wheel drive (AWD), you get a second motor, 320 total hp, and a seriously exciting trip to 60 in just five seconds flat.
And then there is the Kia EV6 GT – the monster of the group that has become even more monstrous this year. The 2025 EV6 GT now makes 601 hp, which stretches to 641 hp in Launch Mode. Torque numbers are 545 lb-ft/568 lb-ft, respectively. Combined with standard all-wheel drive, this fastest of EV6 models leaps to 60 mph in a blistering 3.4 seconds — faster than some Lamborghini models. New this year, the EV6 GT adds virtual sounds and the sense of shifting gears to the fun via the Virtual Gear Shift. We first experienced these tricks in the similar Hyundai Ioniq 5 N, and we must admit to enjoying the sensation.
Beyond and perhaps regardless of the numbers, we’ve found the Kia EV6 perfectly enjoyable to drive. It has composure and poise, yet is comfortable enough for most drivers. The steering feel is also precise and well-weighted, while the brakes are direct and inspire confidence, even with four levels of regeneration. Speaking of stopping, we love that the Kia EV6 has one-pedal driving. This feature allows the vehicle to come to a complete stop simply by lifting off the accelerator pedal. It might feel odd the first day you use it, but then you’ll never want to return to “normal” driving again. Of course, even with one-pedal mode activated, the brake pedal still functions as normal, too.
For 2025, Kia EV6 models with the 84-kWh battery can tow up to 2,700 pounds, an increase of 400 pounds.
<h3>Range and Charging</h3>
The 2025 Kia EV6 electric SUV offers two sizes of battery packs, one or two motors, and various power levels, all of which affect its range and efficiency. Thanks to battery enhancements for 2025, the least-expensive Light RWD has a range of 237 miles between charges. The Light Long Range AWD and Wind AWD are rated to travel up to 295 miles, while the GT-Line AWD does 270. The most powerful EV6, the GT, has the least range at 231 miles.
The Light Long Range RWD, Wind RWD, and GT-Line RWD get up to 319 miles between charges, the most of the lineup. At its 319 number, the EV6 is the same as the Chevrolet Equinox EV, nearly the same as the Mustang Mach-E with up to 320 miles, and just edges the Hyundai Ioniq 5 with its 318 miles. Meanwhile, the Nissan Ariya is EPA-rated at 289 miles, and the Tesla Model Y boasts up to 337.
Charging times vary widely depending on what’s juicing up the battery. At its fastest on a public Level 3 DC fast charger, the EV6 can go from 10% to 80% in 18 minutes under the best conditions. More common sources will be Level 2 chargers, like a 240-volt in-home unit, that can recharge the EV6 in around seven hours. For 2025, the Kia EV6 is compatible with the North American Charging Standard (NACS), so it can charge at Tesla Supercharger stations.

Daring Exterior

The Kia EV6 has one of the most distinctive designs we’ve seen in recent years. It’s hard to categorize, but it sure is alluring. In the pursuit of optimum aerodynamic efficiency, the door handles of the 2025 EV6 are flush to the body and pop out automatically.
Looking at this wind-cheating body shape, potential buyers of a new EV6 electric vehicle will have to decide for themselves whether it’s an SUV or a hatchback with a higher-than-usual ride height. This slightly elevated stance makes room for the floor-mounted battery. Either way, we think there are plenty of features to delight the eyes, such as the various alloy wheel designs and how the taillight snakes around from one rear fender to the other. The GT-Line and GT also come with a powered wide-panel sunroof.
Thanks to the minor tweaks to the front and rear fascias for 2025, the Kia EV6 is slightly longer, with overall length increasing by 0.6 inches to 184.8 inches overall. For all but the GT trim, the charging port has been repositioned to the left rear fender for 2025.

800-volt fast charging 
This is pretty much the cutting edge of charging tech. DC fast chargers allow EV batteries to add about 70 miles of range in less than five minutes. The 2025 EV6 is capable of going from 10% capacity up to 80% in 18 minutes.
Vehicle to Load (V2L) 
As well as providing energy for the electric motor(s) in the 2025 EV6, the battery pack also has an outlet to power various appliances and even act as a backup in the event of a power outage at home.
Meridian audio 
This is a well-respected name among audiophiles. Meridian setups are also found in Jaguar and Land Rover vehicles. Wind, GT-Line, and GT models get this 14-speaker system as standard.
Wireless phone charging 
Place a compatible smartphone on the pad in the center console, and recharging happens automatically. It’s standard in every 2025 EV6 and just a great little convenience feature.
Heat pump 
It’s not the most exciting feature, but one worth having. It captures heat from the drivetrain and directs it into the cabin — even to the battery when required, enhancing energy efficiency. It’s standard in AWD models.
Remote Smart Parking Assist 
The driver can control the 2025 EV6 from outside the car, using buttons on the key fob to ease the vehicle into or out of tight parking spaces. This is optional in Wind trim and standard in the GT-Line and GT.

Tech-Forward Interior

The Kia EV6’s cabin feels futuristic, and it certainly has the kind of innovation this Kia’s exterior advertises. This Kia’s interior also stands apart from the Hyundai Ioniq 5. Though these two models are similar beneath the skin, their designs showcase each one’s aesthetics. Where the Ioniq 5 is more open and airy, the EV6 feels more driver-focused and intimate. A big reason for this is due to the wide center console that separates the front seats. In the Hyundai, that space is open. Which do you prefer? In the Kia, that console houses essential functions such as the start/stop button and a rotary dial that puts the vehicle into drive, reverse, park, etc.
Then there’s the ample tech. Dual 12.3-inch screens – one in the center for infotainment duties, the other in front of the driver acting as an instrument cluster – are straight out of a luxury vehicle. As with other EVs, this Kia uses recycled materials for fabrics and the like, and no animal products are used in the manufacture of the simulated leather seating surfaces. That doesn’t mean they feel cheap, however. We think the level of quality throughout the cabin as a whole is impressive.
Thanks to a platform designed especially for electric vehicles, the EV6 has a flat floor and plenty of interior room for a 5-seater. Rear passenger space is maximized by a long wheelbase (longer than the bigger Kia Telluride’s, even) and special front seats that have a slimmer back than a typical example, made possible by a thin frame of ultra-light steel. The GT comes with model-specific lightweight front sport seats that are manually operated. If that sounds uncomfortable, fear not, they’re fine. They hold their occupants nicely in place when taking fast corners.
The rear seats also recline and fold and split in a 60/40 fashion. Luggage space is 24.4 cubic feet, which can expand to 46.7 cubic feet with both rear seats folded. In this respect, we see the results of the EV6’s sleek and sloping exterior design. The blockier Hyundai Ioniq 5, by comparison, has 27.2/59.3 cubic feet. The Tesla Model Y, meanwhile, touts 76 cubic feet of cargo space. The EV6 also has a little storage area under the hood, in what’s known as the frunk (front trunk).

The 2025 Kia EV6 Light RWD is the only model to use the 63-kWh battery pack. It returns 115 MPGe (miles per gallon equivalent) combined. All other EV6 variants use an 84-kWh battery pack with an estimated up to 114 MPGe combined for rear-wheel drive and 106 MPGe for all-wheel drive. The GT-Line AWD is lower at 97 MPGe, and the performance-focused GT is lower still at 83 MPGe.
5-Year/60,000-Mile Warranty
Kia has some of the best warranties among mainstream car companies (along with sister company Hyundai). The basic new-car coverage on a 2025 EV6 is five years or 60,000 miles, whichever happens first. That’s a couple of years or another 24,000 miles more than typical. It’s a similar story with the drivetrain warranty — Kia’s is for 10 years or 100,000 miles.
Safety
This generation of Kia EV6 nabbed the coveted Top Safety Pick+ status from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (<a href="https://www.iihs.org/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">IIHS</a>). The 2025 model is still being evaluated using the agency’s new testing protocol. However, it did receive the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s (<a href="https://www.nhtsa.gov/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">NHTSA</a>) highest 5-Star overall rating.

All versions of the 2025 Kia EV6 benefit from a larger battery pack that enables longer range, minor design updates to the front and rear, and new wheel designs. On all trims except the EV6 GT, the charge port has been moved to the left rear fender, and is compatible with North American Charging Standard (NACS), so the EV6 can juice up at Tesla Supercharger stations, Inside, the 2025 EV6 gets Kia’s Star Map lighting, a D-shaped steering wheel, and updated center console.
The Kia EV6 also benefits from an electric tilt and telescoping steering column, additional sound insulation, and a reinforced frame to meet ever-stricter safety standards. The 2026 Toyota Crown is powered by a 236-horsepower hybrid 4-cylinder powertrain matched with a CVT automatic transmission and all-wheel drive (AWD). It’s upgradable to a punchy turbocharged Hybrid MAX setup that produces 340 horsepower. The tradeoff is simple: the base powertrain is more affordable and efficient, albeit slower, while the Hybrid MAX is more performance-oriented and less efficient.
Regardless of the powertrain, the Toyota Crown drives like a dream. Being the big sedan that it is, it floats over the road in smooth and serene comfort. When we tested the Crown, its good driving manners and hushed cabin reminded us of pricier Lexus hybrids. From daily errand running to highway cruising, the Crown is a comfortable way to get around.
The Crown even handled better than we expected when putting it through its paces on twisty roads. Toyota’s Active Cornering Assist (ACA) system delivers sure-footed handling in quick turns by applying subtle braking to whichever wheel needs it. Opting for the Platinum trim adds an Adaptive Variable Suspension system that can transform from firm and sporty to soft and comfy.
<h3>Fuel Economy</h3>
The 2026 Toyota Crown boasts a fantastic fuel economy rating of 42 city/41 highway/41 combined mpg, and it can go almost 600 miles on a full tank of gas. And remember, that’s with standard AWD. Upgrading to the sportier Hybrid MAX powertrain drops those numbers to 29 city/32 highway/30 combined mpg. According to EPA estimates, the monthly fuel cost of the Hybrid MAX is about $33 more than the base powertrain.

Distinct Exterior

The Toyota Crown doesn’t look quite like anything else on the road. It’s ostensibly a sedan but has SUV-like ride height and a sloping, coupe-like roofline. However, it’s still a car with four doors and a trunk, so it’s a sedan. It looks especially distinct when optioned with one of the available two-tone paint jobs.

Two hybrid powertrains 
The standard powertrain in the Toyota Crown returns over 40 mpg both in the city and on the highway. For those craving stronger performance but still wanting hybrid efficiency, the Hybrid MAX powertrain pumps out 340 horsepower while keeping fuel costs below the average for a new car.
Standard AWD 
Every Toyota Crown comes standard with all-wheel drive. This upscale sedan has no delusions about being an off-roader. Still, the all-wheel-drive system delivers confident traction on slippery roads and satisfying grip when turning on dry pavement.
Toyota Safety Sense 3.0 
This advanced suite of safety technologies bundles automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, full-speed adaptive cruise control, lane centering, road sign assist, and Toyota’s Proactive Driving Assist, which can gently apply brakes and steering based on the traffic around you.
Wireless Android Auto/Apple CarPlay 
Wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay are standard in every Toyota Crown. These connectivity features allow you to effortlessly stream music, maps, and more to the screen in your car without taking your phone out of your pocket or purse.
Standard leather seats 
The Toyota Crown XLE isn’t your average base-level Toyota. The most affordable trim of this hybrid is packed with desirable features like leather seats (heated and ventilated in front), 19-inch two-tone alloy wheels, a 12.3-inch infotainment display, and the aforementioned safety and smartphone connectivity features.
Platinum trim 
The top Platinum trim truly gives more expensive luxury sedans a run for their money. Just a few features include the powerful Hybrid MAX powertrain, an adaptive suspension system, a hands-free power trunk, JBL audio, a 360-degree camera, and available bi-tone exterior color options.

Upscale interior

Interior quality and comfort are highlights of the Toyota Crown. Remove the <a href="https://www.kbb.com/toyota/">Toyota</a> badges, and we could be convinced we were sitting in a Lexus the first time we got behind the wheel of this upscale sedan.
With accommodations for five, the Crown’s cabin is simple yet sophisticated. Twin 12.3-inch screens dominate the dash. One is in the center for infotainment duties, and the other is a digital instrument cluster. This kind of setup is becoming the norm, and it’s presented well here in the Crown.
There are just enough physical buttons for controlling climate, audio, and other functions without being untidy. You can also simply give a command by saying something like, “Hey, Toyota, set the temperature to 70 degrees.” Such voice command systems are also proliferating; we’ve found that Toyota’s system works remarkably well.
We tested out the Crown as a real-world family vehicle and can confirm that three kids can comfortably fit in the back seats. But it’s not just for kids; the back seats have 38.9 inches of adult-friendly legroom. The one minor downside we found in this respect is rear headroom. At 37.5 inches, it might feel a little tight for taller types. That said, the Camry only has another half an inch.
One other tiny gripe is that the trunk has 15.2 cubic feet of space. That’s roomy enough for groceries, but it’s less trunk space than the Toyota Avalon that the Crown replaced and about the same size as the trunk of the Camry, which is a smaller, more affordable, more efficient hybrid.

In an automotive world where big sedans from mainstream brands have all but vanished, the Toyota Crown is in a class of its own. As the largest and priciest sedan in the Toyota lineup, it serves up <a href="https://www.kbb.com/lexus/">Lexus</a>-like levels of luxury and even lively performance when optioned with the available 340-hp Hybrid MAX powertrain. Meanwhile, the subtler standard hybrid powertrain returns up to 41 combined mpg. Add in standard all-wheel drive, a spacious interior, and the safety, reliability, and resale value synonymous with <a href="https://www.kbb.com/toyota/">Toyota</a>, and there’s a strong case to be made for the premium yet practical Toyota Crown.

The standard 2.5-liter hybrid 4-cylinder engine in the Toyota Crown makes 236 hp and 163 lb-ft of torque. A continuously variable automatic transmission (CVT) delivers power to all four wheels. Its performance is good enough for the daily commute, and its fuel economy is outstanding at 42 city/41 highway/41 combined mpg.
Meanwhile, the heart of the optional Hybrid MAX powertrain is a turbocharged 2.4-liter 4-cylinder with a total output of 340 hp and 400 lb-ft of torque. It’s mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission. This is a considerable upgrade in performance, but fuel economy is reduced to 29 city/32 highway/30 combined mpg.
<h3>3-Year/36,000-Mile Warranty</h3>
Toyota’s new vehicle warranty lasts three years or 36,000 miles, whichever happens first. Powertrains are covered for five years or 60,000 miles, which is typical among mainstream manufacturers. Hybrid components have a warranty of eight years or 100,000 miles, and the hybrid battery is protected for 10 years or 150,000 miles. Toyota also includes two years or 25,000 miles of free scheduled maintenance, plus two years of roadside assistance with unlimited mileage.
<h3>Safety</h3>
The Crown is considered a Top Safety Pick by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (<a href="https://www.iihs.org/ratings" target="_blank" rel="noopener">IIHS</a>), the institute’s second-highest honor. It also earns a 5-Star overall safety rating from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (<a href="https://www.nhtsa.gov/ratings" target="_blank" rel="noopener">NHTSA</a>).
Standard safety features include forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking and pedestrian/cyclist/motorcyclist detection, lane tracing assistance, and Proactive Driver Assist — a system that adds gentle steering and braking inputs when necessary.

The Mitsubishi Outlander is America’s most affordable 3-row SUV, and its great warranty and impressive fuel economy add to its value proposition.

The 2025 Mitsubishi Outlander is powered by a 181-horsepower 4-cylinder engine matched with a continuously variable automatic transmission (CVT)and front-wheel drive (FWD) or all-wheel drive (AWD). On paper, its performance is about on par with the base engine of the Kia Sorento, but a much stronger turbo engine is optional in the Sorento and standard in the Hyundai Santa Fe.
Although the middling horsepower, less-than-responsive transmission, and light steering make the Outlander a bit anemic, we were pleasantly surprised by the ride quality’s refinement in our testing. A plush suspension and muted cabin noise almost made us forget that the Outlander is one of the cheapest cars in its class.
<h3>Fuel Economy</h3>
The 2025 Mitsubishi Outlander returns 27 combined mpg with front-wheel drive and 26 mpg with all-wheel drive. These ratings are slightly better than the base engines in the Kia Sorento and Hyundai Santa Fe, but both of those rivals have conventional hybrid options that get up to 36 combined mpg. Meanwhile, the Outlander PHEV goes up to 38 miles on electricity alone and returns 26 mpg with a depleted battery.

Handsome Exterior

The current Outlander SUV has more presence and attitude than its predecessor. In the past, that third row might have been the main reason for choosing an Outlander. Nowadays, the design might also have some sway. Some slight styling tweaks for 2025 help to keep it fresh.

All-wheel drive 
Mitsubishi calls it Super All-Wheel Control (S-AWC), but most of us tend to know it as all-wheel drive, providing the usual extra confidence during bad weather. It has selectable modes of Tarmac, Gravel, Snow, Normal, Eco, and Mud. The difference between Tarmac and Normal is that the former is like a Sport setting.
Apple CarPlay/Android Auto 
We all expect phone integration to be standard in new vehicles these days. It is in the 2025 Outlander, and it works wirelessly in every trim.
Standard Yamaha audio 
Premium sound is usually reserved for upper trims, but in 2025, every Outlander comes with a Yamaha audio system. The base ES trim has an 8-speaker setup, while every other trim has a more powerful 12-speaker system.
Powered tailgate 
A power-operated tailgate (with adjustable opening heights) is simply a great convenience feature, which becomes standard in the SE.
12.3-inch digital instrument cluster 
This configurable driver information display becomes available in the SE’s Tech package. It can show the usual things like road and engine speeds, plus navigation directions.
Head-up display 
Taking driver-oriented tech further, the head-up display projects information into the windshield, reducing those fractions of seconds spent not looking at the road. This is part of the SEL’s Touring package.

3-Row Interior

We’re pleased to report that the Outlander 3-row SUV’s interior is uncluttered and made of high-quality materials. Pricier versions can be almost luxurious, offering semi-aniline leather with diamond-patterned stitching for the seats and door panels.
The good news for families who can benefit from extra seats is that the Mitsubishi Outlander has standard 3-row seating for up to seven. The bad news is that the third row is tiny, fit exclusively for children and the vertically challenged. There are only 18.7 inches of third-row legroom, considerably less than the Kia Sorento and Hyundai Santa Fe, which have about 30 inches of legroom in the way back.
However, if you’ll have the third row folded down most of the time, the Outlander has a decent-sized cargo hold with 30.6 cubic feet of room. There’s 10.9 cubic feet of room behind the third row and a whopping 64.3 cubic feet when all rear seats are folded down. Again, its closest rivals from Kia and Hyundai have more cargo room by virtue of being larger vehicles.

Falling somewhere between compact and midsize SUVs, the Mitsubishi Outlander has the distinction of being America’s most affordable new car with three rows of seats. Its affordable pricing and 3-row versatility make it a strong value proposition for frugal families, and its long warranty coverage and thrifty fuel economy enhance that value factor. It can even get pretty nice in the upper trims if your budget allows it. If a bigger midsize SUV is too pricey and a 2-row compact SUV is too small, the Mitsubishi Outlander is your Goldilocks.

Power for the Mitsubishi Outlander comes from a 2.5-liter 4-cylinder engine rated at 181 horsepower and 181 lb-ft of torque. The Mitsubishi Outlander has a 5-year/60,000-mile basic warranty and a 10-year/100,000-mile powertrain warranty. Only Kia and Hyundai cover their cars for as long. But, perhaps not coincidentally, this car’s major competitors are mostly Kia and Hyundai models, namely the Kia Sorento and Hyundai Santa Fe.
The 2025 Outlander also includes a complimentary 2-year/30,000-mile scheduled maintenance plan. But we encourage shoppers not to overrate that perk — there isn’t much maintenance in the first two years of car ownership. It covers a maximum of three oil changes, three tire rotations, and one cabin filter.
<h3>Safety</h3>
The Mitsubishi Outlander has earned a 4-Star overall safety rating (out of a possible five stars) from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (<a href="https://www.nhtsa.gov/ratings">NHTSA</a>). In testing by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (<a href="https://www.iihs.org/ratings">IIHS</a>), it gets the top “Good” rating in every crashworthiness criterion.

For 2025, the Mitsubishi Outlander gets a <a href="https://www.kbb.com/car-news/mitsubishi-updates-outlander-for-2025/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">mild facelift</a> to its exterior styling, mainly noticeable in the lower front and rear fascias. Its cabin also gets a refresh, with a reorganized center stack yielding a more favorable cupholder layout and a bigger 12.3-inch infotainment screen replacing the old 9-inch screen.
Mitsubishi also retuned the suspension and added more sound deadening to create a more compliant and quiet ride. Mission accomplished; the added serenity was noticeable in our testing.

The all-new 2025 Audi S6 Sportback e-tron midsize car uses its electric power not just for luxury, but also for thrills. Maximum range is 324 miles.

Power, Ride and Handling

Two electric motors, one driving each axle, endow the new S6 Sportback e-tron with a total of 543 hp (with launch control engaged) — enough to send the car accelerating from standstill to 60 mph in only 3.7 seconds. Objectively, that’s sufficient power for virtually any kind of driving this side of a racetrack’s gates. The BMW i5 M60 xDrive sedan has another 50 horses, yet hits 60 mph at the same time. The Mercedes-AMG EQE sedan is a higher achiever with a maximum output of 677 hp and a minimum sprint time of 3.2 seconds, but it costs significantly more.
A sport-tuned adaptive air suspension is standard. Even though the S6 Sportback e-tron comes with all-wheel drive, the bias is toward the rear for a perceptible sportiness.
<h3>Range and Charging</h3>
<a href="https://www.kbb.com/audi/">Audi</a> says the S6 Sportback e-tron has a range of up to 324 miles, better than the Mercedes-AMG EQE’s 225 miles and the BMW i5 M60’s 253 miles. Using a DC fast charger, the S6 Sportback e-tron can go from 10% capacity to 80% in 21 minutes, which is as good as most EVs get.

Handsome and Handy Exterior

Like the A6 Sportback e-tron, this S6 variant is a sleek hatchback, as opposed to a regular sedan, which is fine by us. We like this mix of stylish and sensible. This car has a few extra aerodynamic additions, like a rear lip spoiler, to help differentiate it from the regular A model.
The standard wheels are 20-inch alloys, with 21-inch rims on the options list. Siam Grey Metallic and Daytona Gray Pearl paint finishes are available on the S6 Sportback e-tron, but not on the A version.

Digital Stage 
This is Audi’s name for its combination of 11.9-inch instrument cluster and 14.5-inch infotainment touchscreen. An extra 10.9-inch touchscreen is optional, enabling the front passenger to help with navigation or finding a parking space, or just be entertained by streaming or video games without distracting the driver.
Augmented reality head-up display 
Not just projecting typical information onto the windshield in front of the driver, this option adds things like direction arrows for navigation.
Adaptive driving assistant 
This technology augments adaptive cruise control with map information and other data to enhance occupant comfort and calculate arrival times.
Digital key 
No fob necessary. Drivers can lock/unlock and start the S6 Sportback e-tron whenever their phone or smartwatch is in proximity.
Panoramic glass roof 
The S6 Sportback e-tron has this cool glass roof as standard. It can go from transparent to four levels of opaqueness at the touch of a button.
Bang &amp; Olufsen audio 
We think it’s good to see — and hear — some perennially favorite features making their way into Audi’s newest cars. The S6 Sportback e-tron offers a Bang &amp; Olufsen surround-sound system with 830 watts going through 20 speakers, some of those speakers being in the front headrests.

Versatile Interior

Audi’s S cars augment their typically sophisticated interiors with things like more supportive front seats, keeping their occupants in place even when cornering speeds become more spirited. This is an all-new electric car, so the S6 Sportback e-tron also comes with plenty of contemporary technology.
More mundane but still useful, maximum cargo space is a generous 39.9 cubic feet, better than any sedan.

Based on the A6 Sportback e-tron, this S6 variant is the sporty one. We’ve always been big fans of any S car from <a href="http://www.kbb.com/audi/">Audi</a>. We like the whole package of power and equipment, with that extra poise to the suspension. The 2025 S6 Sportback e-tron follows the usual S formula. In this instance, it comes with 168 hp more than its entry-level A6 Sportback e-tron stablemate.
There’s something else we should mention as well. We’ve also been mightily impressed by Audi’s electric vehicles in general. We’ve found them enjoyable to drive and good at making people feel comfortable with this method of propulsion.

The 2025 Audi S6 Sportback e-tron has a starting sticker price of $79,995, with the range-topping Prestige version kicking off at $85,895.

For 2025, the Chevrolet Silverado EV is available as the LT and RST. Regardless of trim level, there is plenty of power to move this substantial truck. Most shoppers will get a 645-hp setup, which is what powers the LT and the 2SP RST. This system has plenty of horsepower and torque, but for those who want even quicker acceleration, there’s a 760-hp option that allows the truck to accelerate from 0-to-60 mph in about 4.5 seconds.
The Silverado EV’s ride is comfortable, but there is still no question you’re driving a truck. Look for an RST trim level to get niceties like adaptive air suspension and adaptive ride control with continuous damping, which make the ride even nicer, and active rear steering. That last feature makes it easy to maneuver a truck this size through smaller parking lots and in crowded urban areas. Another plus of adaptive air suspension: you can lower it to make it easier for people to get into or out of the truck. It also makes it easier to load and unload cargo.
What’s interesting about driving the Silverado EV is that the interior looks much like what you would expect a truck interior to look like, with comfortable seats and displays where you would want them to be. But that silence when you accelerate takes a bit of a mindset change to adapt to. The truck looks and feels like a Silverado, but all you hear is wind and tire noise. And its acceleration is smooth and quick, in a more linear way than with a combustion engine. That quiet, spacious cabin and comfortable seats make driving the Silverado EV feel serene. Braking feels confident and brake response becomes more noticeable when you select the higher regen braking setting.
<h3>Range and Charging</h3>
The 2025 Silverado EV electric truck has an impressive maximum range of 460 miles in the RST Max Range. Both the RST Extended Range and the LT with the Premium Package have 390 miles of range. That is best in class: the Ford F-150 Lightning with an Extended Range battery has a range of 320 miles, the Tesla Cybertruck’s maximum is 320 miles, and the Rivian R1T is rated at 420 miles.
Using an 800-volt DC fast charger, 100 miles of range can be added in just 10 minutes. This rate compares well to that of Tesla Cybertruck and the Rivian R1T.

Business in Front, Party in the Rear

For those of us who fondly recall the Chevy Avalanche’s flying buttress design and innovative Midgate, the Silverado EV is a welcome reimagining of that idea. The Silverado EV shares some styling similarities with its gas Silverado sibling, but the Midgate functionality is unique to the EV. It takes the 5’11” bed and makes it capable of carrying cargo that’s nearly 11 feet long.
Up front, the “frunk” can carry 10.7 cubic feet of luggage, and also includes a 120-volt outlet. The body has LED lighting and a choice of 18-, 22-, or 24-inch wheels and tires. A fixed full glass roof and folding tonneau cover are also available.

Truck Bed Innovations 
The Multi-Flex tailgate has six different positions and functions that make it easier to carry cargo and get work done. An available utility wall package includes latches and straps for small storage. You can also power tools with outlets in the truck bed.
Multi-Flex Midgate 
This available feature, a throwback to the Chevy Avalanche, is a folding divider between the rear passengers and the bed. When folded down, it allows space for cargo that’s over 10 feet long. With narrow enough cargo, a passenger could still sit in the second row.
Towing Tech 
The Silverado EV is available with blind zone steering assist that accounts for a trailer, cameras that provide several views of the trailer, and an in-vehicle trailer app. These can all be viewed and controlled through the 17.7-inch infotainment screen.
Power Source 
This truck has up to 11 outlets – including four 120-volt and one 240-volt mounted in the bed – and up to 10.2 kilowatts of offboard power.
Four Wheel Steering 
This makes it easier to maneuver the truck while parking and in tight sections of a trail. The Sidewinder Mode lets the rear wheels turn at the same angle as the front wheels – in other words, the truck can move diagonally.
Super Cruise 
This available hands-free driving system works on more than 400,000 miles of roads in the United States and Canada &#8212; which will expand to 750,000 miles &#8212; and it’s compatible with a trailer.

Functional, Modern Interior

While there are interior differences based on trim, the 2025 Silverado EV is a 5-passenger crew cab with a mostly black interior. The LT has black Evotex seats with white stitchwork on the dash and seats. The RST trim has a black interior with red accents on the vents, plus red and blue stitchwork along the Evotex seats and the center console cover that serves as the armrest for the driver and front passenger. You can also get cool gray contrasting seat bolsters. The dash is dominated by a 14-inch reconfigurable digital gauge cluster and a 17.7-inch screen that controls navigation, Google built-in, trailering apps, and more. The shifter is a small toggle on the steering wheel column.

In the all-electric truck world, range isn&#8217;t everything, but it sure is important. And the Silverado EV&#8217;s best-in-class range should be enough to put the minds of even the most range-anxious drivers at ease.
