Knight-Ridder recognized his contributions in founding and supplying content for the stand-alone auto section in the Boca Raton News with a Knight-Ridder Excellence award nomination in 1990. He began contributing advice and other automotive-related content to Cox Automotive as a contractor in 2010. Cox Automotive brought Russ on board as Senior Editor, Advice for Kelley Blue Book in 2022. Previously, he contributed financial and automotive content for Bankrate.com. <p>The original Acura RSX was an attractive sport coupe built from the 2002 to 2006 model years, but the 2026 Acura RSX is reinventing the nameplate in the form of an all-electric premium SUV. The RSX will be the second electric vehicle from the Acura brand after the ZDX, but it will be Honda’s first independently developed EV.</p>
<p>In fact, the upcoming RSX electric SUV will have some cutting-edge technology seeing its first application in a production Honda, including the new ASIMO OS operating system Honda showed at this year’s CES. The 2026 RSX will also be the first EV produced at the Honda EV Hub in Ohio.</p>
<p>Details on the new RSX are scarce at the moment, but it’s due to enter production later in 2025, so it won’t be too long before more information is available.</p>

<p>While it&#8217;s too early to know the RSX&#8217;s pricing with any certainty, given the vehicle&#8217;s size and positioning below the roughly $65,000-$75,000 range of the ZDX, it&#8217;s likely the RSX will start around $50,000 and rise from there with extra equipment and performance packages.</p>
