Volkswagen has recalled just 15 units of its 2025 Tiguan SUV because a loose bolt could cause drivers to lose control.
The company explains, “A rear tie rod bolt may not have been correctly tightened during the manufacturing process.” If it comes loose, the car becomes more difficult to control. Owners might hear a rattling sound as the problem develops.
Volkswagen is not aware of any accidents or injuries related to the problem, which technicians discovered outside the U.S.
Dealers will replace the bolt to fix the problem.
