Tiny Recall Alert: 2023 Cadillac XT5, XT6, GMC Acadia

2022 GMC Acadia front leftCadillac and GMC have issued a recall for an extremely small number of vehicles. It applies to just six 2023 Cadillac XT5 SUVs, nine 2023 Cadillac XT6 SUVs, and nine 2023 GMC Acadia SUVs. All 24 vehicles were built on Aug. 9, 2022.

A printer in GM’s Spring Hill, Tennessee, assembly plant malfunctioned that day and printed illegible tire-size labels for the vehicles’ door sills. Federal law requires the labels. More importantly, owners check them to determine the proper air pressure for their tires.

You can probably guess how dealers will fix the problem — GM is shipping them legible replacement labels.
