Jaguar has recalled just five F-Pace SUVs from model year 2024 because their backup cameras can fail.
The company tells federal safety regulators that a sensor assembly may be missing heat shielding between two microchips. On long drives, the assembly can overheat, triggering a reset sequence that leaves the camera image blank.
The company is aware of no accidents or injuries related to the problem.
Dealers will replace the sensor module to fix the problem.
