Mercedes-Benz has issued a recall for about 125,000 2018-2021 cars and SUVs that may have unreliable backup cameras.
The recall applies to:
- 2018-2021 CLA
- 2018-2021 A-Class
- 2018-2021 C-Class
- 2018-2021 E-Class
- 2018-2021 CLS
- 2018-2021 GLA
- 2018-2021 GLB
- 2018-2021 GLC
- 2018-2021 GLE
- 2018-2021 GLS
In documents filed with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, Mercedes explains, “The rearview camera may not display the rearview image due to a software error.”
Dealers will install new software to fix the problem.
