Lamborghini recalled 27 Revuelto coupes from model years 2024-2025 because the gas springs that hold the doors open may fail. Since the Revuelto’s doors open upward, a spring failure could make the door difficult to open.
The company tells federal safety regulators that a pin critical to the springs’ operation may not have been installed correctly. “If the supporting pins detach, the doors may close under their own weight, posing a potential risk of injury to users,” Lamborghini explains.
The company knows of no accidents or injuries related to the problem, which was discovered during a factory inspection.
Dealers will check the tightening of the pins and reinstall them if necessary to fix the problem.
