Hyundai has recalled just 65 units of its Tucson compact SUV from model year 2025 because they may be missing airbag warning labels.
Front-seat airbags help protect adults during accidents but can injure children. Federal law requires warning labels on the passenger’s side of the dashboard explaining that fact to remind parents not to place small children in the front seat.
Some Tucson models were built without the label, Hyundai says. Dealers will correct the problem by adding the warning in the proper place.
By law, recall repairs are free. Many cars are recalled, often more than once, during their lifespan. Automakers try to contact every owner, but they don’t always reach them all. Find out whether your car has any outstanding recalls with the easy VIN tool at our recall center.
