Recall Alert: Ford F-150

Ford has issued a recall for about 19,000 2022 F-150 pickups because wiring in their power-adjustable steering columns may be too short. That could be dangerous in an accident, preventing the steering column from moving as designed.

The recall applies only to trucks built at Ford’s Dearborn, Michigan, plant between September 14, 2021, and February 25, 2022; and those built at Ford’s Kansas City plant between October 21, 2021, and February 24, 2022.

Dealers will inspect the trucks and replace any under-length wires.

Recall repairs are always free. Manufacturers attempt to contact every owner, but they don’t always reach them all with the news. Find out if your car has ever been recalled at our recall center.
