Ford recalled 37,371 vehicles because their windshield wiper motors may fail.
Recalled models include the:
- 2023 Ford Bronco Sport
- 2023-2024 Ford Maverick
- 2023 Ford Mustang Mach-E
Ironically, rain can defeat the windshield wipers. Ford says some wiper motors are missing a seal, allowing water to get inside and short-circuit them.
Dealers will inspect the wiper motors. If they find one not properly sealed, they’ll replace it with a new motor.
By law, dealers don’t charge for recall repairs.
