Audi has issued a recall order for about 500 2022 A3 and S3 sedans. Dealers need to replace the sleeves fitted over the LATCH child seat anchors in the cars.
There’s nothing wrong with the LATCH anchors themselves. U.S. law and European law each specify that particular graphics must be printed on the sleeves explaining how to install a child safety seat. Audi inadvertently shipped some cars to the U.S. with European graphics.
This could create some confusion when parents try to install a child safety seat, as the instructions in the owners manual and the graphics printed on the sleeves differ.
Dealers will fix the problem by replacing the sleeves free of charge.
