Ford has issued a recall for 47 units of its 2025 F-150 hybrid pickup because they can lose drive power.
Ford tells federal safety officials that factory workers installed one incorrect fuse in a high-voltage junction box. That fuse can blow under normal loads, causing a “sudden loss of motive power” to the truck.
Ford is aware of the issue happening to six vehicles.
This recall has one of the easiest fixes we’ve seen: Dealers will swap in the correct fuse. That should take seconds.
