Recall Alert: 2020-2021 Lincoln Aviator

Lincoln is recalling about 35,000 Aviator SUVs from model years 2020 and 2021 over concerns that the backup camera “may be intermittently unable to provide a video feed to the display screen.”

The company knows of no accidents or injuries due to the problem.

Dealers will update the software in the image-processing module, which should correct the problem. Recall repairs are always free.

Customers should expect to receive a recall notice in the mail in May. Automakers always attempt to reach owners with recall notices, but they don’t always get the news to everyone affected. You can check whether your car has ever been recalled at our recall center.
