The 2022 Ram 1500 isn’t one model of a pickup so much as it is an entire lineup of trucks. You can buy a reliable work truck version of the Ram 1500 for under $29,000. You can buy a 702-horsepower, high-performance Ram TRX for over $90,000. And you can buy just about any step between those two.
The luxurious Ram Limited boasts premium leather seats, real wood trim, and an available 19-speaker audio system. The trim is now 10 years old. Ram would like to celebrate.
To mark the occasion, it is offering the Ram 1500 Limited 10th Anniversary Edition.
The anniversary model carries all the same equipment as the Ram Limited, plus an exclusive exterior color and some interior enhancements. At $60,175, plus a $1,695 destination fee, it’s a hefty premium over the Limited’s $53,915 asking price. The new model goes on sale in the third quarter of the year.
It comes in an exclusive paint color called Blue Shade. A multifunction tailgate, center-mounted bed step, and adjustable cargo tie-down hooks are included. Inside, it offers the only quilted leather seats currently found on a pickup, as well as a suede headliner and highlights, all in Indigo and Sea Salt Grey. Aluminum bezels in place of traditional wood update the look, as do metal pedals.
It’s a fairly steep price for the content, but at a time when full-size trucks are in short supply and dealers can get nearly any price they ask for them, that’s understandable.
