Ram has recalled 72,509 trucks because their driver’s instrument panels can go blank at startup. That leaves drivers without critical information like their current speed and safety warnings.
Recalled models include some, but not all, examples of the:
- 2025-2026 Ram 1500
- 2025-2026 Ram 2500
- 2025-2026 Ram 3500
- 2025-2026 Ram 3500 Chassis Cab
- 2025-2026 Ram 3500 Chassis Cab
- 2025-2026 Ram 3500 Chassis Cab
The company tells the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration that the problem is software-related, but they’ll fix it by replacing the hardware.
Dealers will simply replace the instrument panel to fix the problem.
By law, dealers never charge for recall repairs.
