Porsche has recalled just three units of its Macan Electric SUV from model years 2024 and 2025 because some front-seat airbags may not deploy properly.
The company explains, “Due to an assembly deviation, the front seat airbags may not be correctly fastened to the backrest frame in certain vehicles.” Partly loose inside their housings, the airbags might not deploy in the right position to protect occupants in an accident.
To fix the problem, dealers will inspect the airbags and reattach them if necessary.
