Porsche recalled 107 vehicles because a loose connection of the fuel pump in their engines could lead to a fuel leak and a fire.
Recalled models include some, but not all, examples of the:
- 2024-2026 Porsche Cayenne
- 2024-2026 Porsche Panamera
- 2025 Porsche Panamera E-Hybrid
The company tells the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) that the high-pressure fuel pump in these cars may not be properly fastened to the cylinder head. That could allow fuel to leak at high pressure, where it might contact hot engine parts.
Porsche is not aware of any incidents in its own cars, but knows of one fire “reported by another brand within the group that uses engines built on the same production line.”
Dealers will inspect the connections and, if necessary, replace the high-pressure fuel pumps and fuel lines to fix the problem.
By law, dealers never charge for recall repairs.
