Nissan offers pricing and financing aid to victims of Sandy

Stepping up to help recovery efforts for those who lost vehicles as the result of damage from Hurricane Sandy, Nissan North America has announced a program that offers employee pricing and discounted financing on replacement Nissan and Infiniti models. To qualify for these benefits, victims must live in FEMA-designated disaster or emergency areas. The Nissan initiative will be operational from now until January 2, 2013, and complete details are available online by following a "disaster relief" link at www.InsideNissan.com.

Under terms of the deal, qualified Nissan employees will be able to stack this supplemental price break on top of their existing discounts. However, Nissan Motor Acceptance Corporation will allow all eligible individuals to defer the first payment on any contracts it writes for a period of up to three months, where allowable by law.

"Nissan is a major player in the Northeast region with more than 225 dealers in the affected areas and is eager to lend a hand to neighbors who have been left without a means of personal transportation," said Brian Carolin, senior vice president, sales and marketing, NNA. "Nissan is offering both employee pricing and employee financing rates to eligible storm victims as one way to help them return to normal."
