British boutique automaker Morgan released a teaser image of a new electric-powered 3-wheeler it will be presenting in “near-production” form at the Geneva Auto Show. Unlike the conventional Morgan 3-Wheeler that drives the front wheels with a 2.0-liter/116-horsepower V-2 gasoline engine, the new EV3 will feature a rear-mounted electric motor driving the rear wheel that reportedly makes 75 horsepower.
While it’s hard to tell much about the exterior styling of Morgan’s most radical exercise to date, it promises to be edgier than the quirky and retro 3-Wheeler. Although that model is currently available here in limited numbers, there’s no word on whether or when the new Morgan EV3 also might make the Atlantic crossing.
