Mercedes-Benz has recalled just 26 SUVs because their rearview mirrors, which may include screens for the rearview cameras, can fall off.
Recalled models include a few examples each of the:
- 2024-2025 Mercedes-Benz GLE
- 2025 Mercedes-AMG GLE
- 2025 Mercedes-AMG GLS
- 2025 Mercedes-Benz GLS
- 2025 Mercedes-Maybach GLS
The company tells the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) that “the bonding of the multipurpose camera and/or the interior mirror to the windshield might not meet specifications.”
Dealers will, as you have probably guessed by now, reinstall the mirror with new adhesive.
By law, dealers never charge for recall repairs.
