Mercedes-Benz has recalled 136 GLA SUVs from model year 2024 because their headlights may be missing the markings that help technicians aim them.
The company tells federal safety officials that “the affected vehicles left the plant with the correct headlight adjustment since the plant does not use this marking point.” However, if technicians attempt to aim them during service or repair, they won’t have the necessary guide.
Dealers will inspect the headlights and replace them if the markings are missing.
By law, dealers never charge for recall repairs.
