Mercedes-Benz has recalled 660 EQB 4Matic electric SUVs from model years 2022-2023 because they can lose all drive power.
The company tells the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) that busbars inside some battery packs may have been assembled with the wrong screws. That can sporadically interrupt the power connection, leading to a loss of propulsion.
Dealers will replace the batteries to fix the problem.
