The Mercedes-Benz E-Class family is set to add a new member in 2017 in the form of a flashy Coupe model. While the automaker provided no additional information ahead of the official reveal, the new 2-door E-Class shares the exterior styling with its new C-Class and S-Class counterparts along with the trick “Stardust-effect” technology taillights introduced on the 2017 E-Class Sedan.
While the cabin of the new E-Class Coup closely aligns with its 4-door sibling, it does boast a few distinctive touches, most notably a unique interior vent treatment. The new E-Class Coupe is expected to make its debut next month at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit. We’ll know more about specific model designations, potential AMG-enhanced variants and the new Coupe’s U.S. launch soon.
