Lucid has recalled 865 Air sedans from model years 2022-2025 because they may not display the rearview camera’s view when backing up.
The company tells federal safety regulators that a software update “introduced an intermittent bug which could result in the camera entering a faulted state and therefore not displaying the rearview image.”
Lucid vehicles can receive software updates over the air. The company has already released an over-the-air update to fix the issue. Owners who have disabled automatic updates may need to download the patch.
