- Long-awaited entry-level trim of Gravity SUV will arrive soon
- Even the lowest trim of the Gravity provides impressive luxury touches and over 100 cubic feet of storage capacity
The Lucid Gravity was unveiled almost exactly two years ago at the 2023 Los Angeles Auto Show, catching headlines with marketing promises of over 440 miles range, a starting price under $80,000, and the ability to do zero to 60 mph in under 3.5 seconds — all with seating for up to seven. While those are impressive metrics on paper, the asterisk with Lucid’s power, range, and price targets is that they are never possible at the same time.
The Gravity first came to market, barely, at the end of 2024, very gradually ramping through this year. Like new models from other upstart automakers, the first off the line were the more premium versions, such as the Grand Touring trim. It starts at $96,550 and easily exceeds the $100,000 mark, but achieves the impressive range and power numbers promised to consumers. At this year’s Los Angeles Auto Show, Lucid finally unveiled the more accessible Touring trim, starting at its promised base price of $79,900, or $81,550 with the mandatory destination fee, which we include in our reporting.

Gravity Touring Range and Power
The 2026 Gravity Touring offers a range of up to 337 miles with an 89 kWh battery pack. That energy provides up to 560 horsepower to dual motors, giving it standard all-wheel drive (AWD). This enables accelerating from zero to 60 mph in 4 seconds. Charging speeds reach 220 kW via a North American Charging System (NACS) port, which also grants access to Tesla Supercharger stations. As with other Gravity trims, the Touring version boasts impressive cargo space — up to 120 cubic feet, according to Lucid.
The Touring trim undercuts Tesla’s Model X by a cool $20,000 but sits above mainstream 3-row electric SUVs such as the Kia EV9 and Hyundai Ioniq 9 even in their highest trim configurations. Know that while the base price meets Lucid’s initial goal, options can quickly take even the Touring trim above $110,000. Still, it’s impressive to meet the pre-tariff price target, now that even the federal electric vehicle (EV) tax credit has been eliminated. The Gravity Touring is available now to configure, with some selections ready to deliver in as little as two weeks.
