The future of electric car charging looks bright and, dare we say, “cozy”? Popular toy company Little Tikes now sells a Cozy E-Charging Station to keep its classic red-and-yellow Cozy Coupe playfully powered up and ready to go.
Lights and Sounds
The toy charging station includes light and sound effects for extra entertainment. A Power-Up button lets kids press it to begin “charging.” A wide base makes the toy charger ideal for indoor or outdoor use. Reflective labels mean the charging station can glow in the dark. The best part is that this charger is actually compatible with the Cozy Coupe vehicle. It plugs into the toy car the way an actual charger plugs into a vehicle’s port.

The Cozy E-Charging Station is recommended for children 18 months to 5 years old and retails for $32.99. The Cozy Coupe ranges in price from $64.99 for classic and Princess trims to $99.99 for Cozy Truck models. The charging station has several 5-star reviews, though our staff has admittedly been too busy testing actual cars to get around to trying this setup. Maybe one of their kids will be up for the job.
Early Lessons
Unlike an actual EV charger, this toy doesn’t depend on the local power grid. All that’s required are three AA batteries (not included). The Cozy Coupe’s output is still measured in tiny foot-power, after all.
