Lincoln Recalls Navigator SUVs Over Flickering Light Bars

The 2025 Lincoln Navigator in black seen from a front quarter angle

Lincoln has recalled 1,195 Navigator SUVs from model year 2025 because their rear light bars can flicker or go dark.

The company tells federal safety officials that the lenses covering the light beams may crack, allowing moisture in where it can short out the lights.

Dealers will replace the light bar to fix the problem.

By law, dealers never charge for recall repairs.

Automakers recall many cars to fix safety defects, sometimes more than once. While automakers try to reach every owner to ask them to bring the vehicle in for repair, they rarely get them all. Millions of vehicles on American roads need free recall repairs. To find out if your car is one of them, check the easy VIN tool at our recall center.
