Kia has confirmed that its Sedona minivan will not be returning for the 2013 model year. The affable seven-passenger hauler will continue on to the end of 2012 offering solid value for those willing to live with a veteran design that is simply at the end of its service life. While Kia remains quiet on the timing of a Sedona replacement, it has indicated that a minivan definitely remains part of its future plans. Although the Sedona’s successor won’t be here for 2013, it seems likely that a true 21st century follow-up could well make an appearance in Kia showrooms within the next 24 months.
