Kia has recalled 82,281 K5 sedans from model year 2025 because their parking lights may not function properly.
Kia tells federal safety regulators that, due to a software problem, if drivers activate their turn signals while the headlights are on, the parking lights blink.
Because the problem is software-related, dealers can fix it with a software update. Some K5 models may receive the update over the air, while others must visit a dealership to have the update installed.
