Kia EV6 Buyers to Get Free Charging Time

2022 Kia EV6

Kia and Electrify America have announced that buyers of new 2022 Kia EV6 electric vehicles will get up to 1,000 hours of free charging at EA chargers during their first three years of ownership.

Electrify America says its “vast DC charging network is the largest in the country.” Tesla makes a similar claim about its Supercharger network. No government agency verifies such claims.

EA has announced at least 15 similar agreements with other automakers.

The EV6 is a sharp-looking compact crossover with more than 300 miles of range between charges. It shares most of its running gear with the Hyundai Ioniq 5. The EV6 also comes in a high-performance GT trim the Hyundai can’t currently match.

Kia and EA say the offer equates to “3,500 to 4,000 miles of all-electric driving at no charging cost, depending on the vehicle model and various conditions.”
