Jeep boss Michael Manly provided an advanced look at the division’s ambitious plans for the next half decade today at the annual Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) Investors Day meeting. During that period, FCA is committed to establishing Jeep as the company’s lead global brand by boosting sales to 1.9 million units by 2018, about double what it sells today.

The first of the new products to arrive in showrooms this fall will be the compact 2015 Jeep Renegade that debuted in Geneva. Next up will be a new unnamed compact SUV model replacing the current Patriot and Compass. Due to arrive in mid-2016, it will help celebrate Jeep’s 75th Anniversary. A new-gen Wrangler arrives in mid-2017 followed by an all-new Grand Cherokee later that same year. Closing out the all-new arrivals will be a large, 3-row SUV that will carry the classic Jeep Grand Wagoneer name and, in Manly’s words, be "the most premium Jeep we have ever made."

Beyond introducing these clean-sheet vehicles, Manly also confirmed the division’s commitment to more aggressively managing product lifecycles of its existing players. To that end, we can also expect to see a mid-cycle refresh of the Grand Cherokee next year, the Cherokee in 2016 and the Renegade in 2017.
