Jeep Teases Refreshed 2026 Grand Cherokee

2026 Jeep Grand Cherokee interior tease

The Jeep Grand Cherokee is due for an update, though not a complete redesign, for the 2026 model year. Jeep’s best-seller and one of the 15 best-selling vehicles in America, the Grand Cherokee will see an exterior nip-and-tuck and some updated interior tech.

Jeep hasn’t released details, but sent on a pair of photos to whet your appetite.

A front-end shot shows new, thinner LED headlights flanking the brand’s signature 7-slot grille. Similarly thin rectangular fog lights hide in the air vents beneath. A redesigned front bumper includes new body-color dividers in the lower air intake. It’s not a dramatic revision. However, it should add to the tailored look the SUV has worn since its last full redesign.

An interior photo reveals a few more details. A simplified interface puts a row of climate control buttons under the central touchscreen, with narrow knobs to either side. The photo shows a passenger screen, likely an added-cost option, that looks like it may be larger than the 10.3-inch version available today.

Automakers rarely make significant mechanical changes for a refresh like this, but Jeep says it is currently “perfecting the 2026 Grand Cherokee’s powertrain,” hinting that some retuning may be in store.

A Jeep spokesperson says, “The updated Grand Cherokee will be available as a two-row, three-row L and plug-in hybrid 4xe.” It is set to arrive later this year.
