Jeep Grand Cherokee, Grand Cherokee L See Camera Recall

2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4xe

Jeep has recalled 133 Grand Cherokee SUVs from model year 2022 and Grand Cherokee L SUVs from model years 2021-2022 because their backup cameras may not always function.

The company tells federal safety regulators that a transistor in the center display screen may overheat, shutting down the screen.

Dealers will fix it by replacing the center screen. Jeep says it believes dealers have already remedied the problem in most vehicles before the formal recall was filed with the federal government.

Recall repairs are always free.

Carmakers try to notify the owners of recalled vehicles, but those efforts aren’t always 100% effective. To check if your car is part of a recall, try our easy VIN check tool in our recall center.
