- Jeep and tuner shop Fox Factory offer a limited-edition 2026 Wrangler, the Wrangler Commando, available only to members of the military and veterans
- Starting at $69,995, the new variant features 37-inch tires and an optional supercharger
Special edition vehicles are nothing new, but Jeep and the off-road tuner shop Fox Factory have developed one with a very limited audience.
The companies will build 250 copies of the Jeep Wrangler Commando. They will auction one to the general public to benefit the USO. The other 249 will be sold only to active-duty members of the U.S. military or veterans.
The Commando starts with the Wrangler 392, the only Wrangler equipped with the 470-horsepower Hemi V8. Fox adds off-road gear like a 3.5-inch lift kit, 37-inch Nitto mud tires on 17-inch beadlock-capable white wheels, and Fox 3.0 external reservoir shocks. They add tube doors and a bimini top, and paint it an olive drab shade familiar to anyone who has spent time in uniform.
Optionally, they’ll add a Whipple supercharger, upping power to 705 hp.

The Commando interior gets leather upholstery in a desert khaki shade embroidered with the Commando logo.
Best of all, the special edition models qualify for Jeep’s 3-year, 36,000-mile factory warranty — a rarity among modified cars.
Those interested can apply to buy on the Fox website. The application requires you to specify your military service and provide a narrative of your service story.
