Every year, the annual Easter Jeep Safari in Moab, Utah spawns a number of unique off-road ragers courtesy of Jeep and Chrysler Group’s Mopar Performance brand. This year’s event, which starts on April 12, will feature six of these distinctive one-offs. The first to surface – at least in teaser form — are the Jeep Wrangler Mojo and the Jeep Cherokee Dakar.

While no details accompanied either of these sketches, the pair is expected to follow the time-tested Easter Safari formula and match a variety of existing Mopar aftermarket components with a selection of prototype pieces. Decked out in orange and black livery, the Wrangler Mojo is the higher profile of the pair, but with its lifted suspension, bolder fender flares and bigger wheel/tire fitment, the stealthier Cherokee Dakar may well draw more interest as it previews some hidden heretofore untapped potential in the newest member of the Jeep family. More info and images of all six Easter Safari specials will be released next week.
