Infiniti is set to preview three potential new products this week. The luxury division of Nissan will use this week’s Monterey Car Week events to show off three designs.
One is likely a preview of the next QX65 midsize SUV coupe. We’ve already seen it in shadowy teaser photos.
The company explains, “The QX65 Monograph builds on the daring principles of Infiniti’s Artistry in Motion design language, blending precise craftsmanship with sleek and seamless body forms.” It appeared in the background of an image showing four planned future models as far back as late 2023.
The last new Infiniti design to appear, the all-new 2025 QX80, appeared first as a concept car called the QX80 Monograph. The finished design reached showrooms last year, and it looked remarkably close to that concept car. So, the QX65 Monograph is likely a close preview of a car destined for production as a 2026 model.
Infiniti will also bring two “design exercises” prepared to “imagine the possibilities of the all-new QX80.” Those could appear as future trim levels. One, called the Track Spec, will be a high-performance edition. The other, the Terrain Spec, will emphasize off-road credibility.
