Infiniti has offered this first glimpse of a performance-oriented one-off that will make its debut next month at the 2013 North American International Auto Show. Named after the legendary high-speed corner at Belgium’s Spa-Francorchamps Formula One racing circuit, the Infiniti Q50 Eau Rouge will feature styling and design elements inspired by the automaker’s partnership with the World Champion Infiniti Red Bull Racing F1 team and its 4-time Driving Champion, Sebastian Vettel — who also happens to be Infiniti’s director of performance.

"Performance is a key pillar of Infiniti’s DNA, and this car expresses a deepened design interpretation of that," notes Alfonso Albaisa, Infiniti’s Executive Design Director. "The Q50, with an abundance of technologies, provides a great basis for an extreme performance version, embodied in the design of Q50 Eau Rouge." So far, the automaker remains tight-lipped about exactly what aero enhancements will be found on this car — and on whether any will make it from the show stand to the showroom. All it will say at this point is that the Eau Rough Concept "blends road car technology with thoroughbred motorsport vision."
