It keeps its excellent Zero Gravity seats, designed with NASA research in mind, and consistently the best reason to consider a Nissan product.
It uses a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine rated at 149 horsepower, mated to a continuously variable automatic transmission (CVT). Available ProPILOT Assist is a fatigue-saver, accelerating, braking, and steering to keep pace with highway traffic as long as you stay alert with your hands on the wheel.
Nissan sells the 2026 Sentra in four trim levels – S, SV, SR, and SL. They’re all mechanically identical. The difference is creature comforts.
The top-of-the-line SL comes upholstered in quilted TailorFit, Nissan’s synthetic leather alternative, with tech upgrades like a Bose premium audio system and heated seats and steering wheel.
The Sentra SL carries an MSRP of $27,990 and a $1,245 destination fee, for a total sticker price of $29,235.
Nissan charges an extra $450 for certain exterior colors, but otherwise, offers no additional options or packages on the SL model. This is as well-equipped as a 2026 Sentra gets.

Speaking of fatigue-savers, Nissan’s ProPILOT Assist system is standard equipment on the Sentra SL. It combines smart cruise control with lane-centering technology. On the highway, it can accelerate, brake, and steer lightly to help keep pace with traffic.
You need to keep your hands on the wheel and your eyes on the road to use it safely. But it takes some of the work out of driving, particularly on long drives. It’s optional on other trim levels, but standard on the top trim.
Affordable Price, Even Fully Equipped
Perhaps the most remarkable thing about the Sentra SL is its reasonable price, even fully equipped. The SL has quilted upholstery, wireless everything, and even helps you drive. But, fully equipped, it is still just below $30,000 delivered. Toyota can’t say that about the Corolla. Honda can’t say it about the Civic.
