GM extends Military Discounts

May is National Military Appreciation Month, and to recognize that fact General Motors has announced it will expand its existing Military Discount program to include all 21 million U.S. service veterans and their spouses from now until May 31st.  Normally the program is available to U.S. military veterans within one year of separation, as well as active-duty personnel, reservists, retirees and their spouses. GM last fall offered the expanded veteran’s discounts for all vets and spouses as way to mark Veteran’s Day and kept the offer in place for the balance of the year.

The discounts in this program cover a variety of popular GM vehicles and can be combined with most of the automaker’s current incentives and ultimately result in several thousand dollars of savings on many popular Chevrolet, Buick and GMC models. A complete listing of eligible vehicles as well as specific details on the Military Discount program can be found at: gmmilitarydiscount.com. “These brave men and women have done so much for our country,” said Steve Hill, GM vice president of U.S. sales and service. “Making sure all veterans can take advantage of our military discount to celebrate Military Appreciation Month is one small way we can express our gratitude.”
