Genesis has recalled 7,855 GV60 SUVs from model years 2023-2025 due to a potential issue with the molding at the top of their windshields, which can fall off and pose a road hazard.

The company tells federal safety officials, “The stainless-steel upper molding at the top of the windshield assembly in the subject vehicles may have been produced at the supplier with insufficient adhesion.”

Owners might notice new wind noise as the problem develops.

Dealers will fix it by replacing the molding.
