Genesis has recalled 4,754 G90 sedans and GV60 SUVs from model years 2023-2025 because their instrument panel displays can go dark. That leaves the driver without critical information like their speed, fuel or charge level, and safety warnings.
The company tells federal safety officials that a software problem can leave the displays temporarily blank after startup.
Genesis can fix the issue with a software update. Most vehicles will receive it over the air, but some owners may need to bring their cars in to have a dealer install it.
Millions of people miss recall notices every year and unknowingly drive recalled vehicles. Our recall center has an easy vehicle identification number (VIN) tool to help you find out if your car needs any free safety repairs.
