Ford Recalls Bronco SUVs, Ranger Trucks with Loose Seats

2025 Ford Ranger Lariat

Ford has recalled just 46 Bronco SUVs and Ranger pickups from model year 2025 because their driver’s seats may not be installed correctly.

The company tells federal safety officials, “The seat-to-body bolts for the front left seats may not have been installed or may have been installed with torque below specification.”

That could allow the driver’s seats to break free in an accident.

The company is not aware of any accidents or injuries related to the problem, which was discovered by a dealership employee.

Dealers will fix the problem by installing missing bolts and tightening loose ones.

Recall repairs are always free.

Automakers recall many cars to fix safety defects, sometimes more than once. While automakers try to reach every owner to ask them to bring the vehicle in for repair, they rarely reach them all. Millions of vehicles on American roads need free recall repairs. Check the easy VIN tool at our recall center to find out if your car is one of them.
