Ford has recalled exactly two copies of its 2025 Bronco SUV for a terrifying reason: vital steering components can separate, leaving the driver unable to control the vehicle.
Ford tells federal safety officials, “Separation of the front upper control arm from the knuckle assembly may result in partial loss of directional control without warning, increasing the risk of a crash.”
Factory workers may have failed to tighten a nut connecting the two to its proper specification.
Dealers will tighten the nut to the proper torque to fix the problem.
