First Drive: 2023 Honda HR-V

Affordable subcompact SUVs aren’t a naturally interesting subject to talk about. Designed and built well, they’re reliable, flexible transportation that meets the needs of most drivers and ruins few monthly budgets. That’s largely the point.
Honda knows how to design and build them well.
So, when our Micah Muzio got some time behind the wheel of the 2023 Honda HR-V, he reviewed it. That’s his job. But, to keep things interesting, he also dismantled the fourth wall to explain his job.
Micah’s impression of the HR-V? It’s “practically designed, a pleasure to drive, and priced right. I think Honda’s gonna sell a ton of these things.”
His tricks for holding your attention in yet another thoughtfully designed, reasonably priced Honda? We’re not giving that away. Watch the video.
