- The Lexus RZ, a midsize electric SUV, will see its price increase by three figures or less at every trim level for the 2027 model year.
- There are no other changes to the vehicle.
Shoppers considering a Lexus RZ don’t need to waste energy debating between the 2026 and 2027 models. The company has made no appreciable change to the vehicle for the new model year.
Even prices are staying nearly steady, changing by as little as $25 or as much as $375, depending on trim level.
The RZ was the first electric vehicle (EV) to appear on the Lexus sales lot, joined this year by the 3-row TZ SUV and an all-electric version of the ES midsize sedan.
Our editors appreciate its smooth, refined ride and the many choices it offers shoppers, including three powertrains, a few adventurous paint colors, and a wider variety of interior color palettes than most luxury cars. However, we find its limited storage space and the unimpressive range of more powerful trims might make it a good second car for many buyers.
