Dodge Grand Caravan Report #02: The Bio

By Editors on August 8, 2008 1:53 PM
The minivan we'll be working out for the next year is a 2008 Dodge Grand Caravan SXT with Modern Blue paint and a Dark Slate/Light Shale leather interior. The base price was $27,140, but it's been loaded up to a sticker price of $38,660. It has the 4.0-liter V6 and six-speed automatic transmission combo, which has already impressed us in other Chrysler products. The key front-of-the-cabin highlight is the MyGIG infotainment system that comprises a navigation system with real-time traffic information, Bluetooth hands-free phone connectivity, a music-storing hard drive and premium sound. Working rearward, there's a dual-screen DVD rear-seat entertainment system with SIRIUS Backseat TV (three kids' channels), Stow 'n Go seating setup (swiveling second-row captain's chairs and a stowable table), power-folding third-row seat, cool overhead ambient lighting, power liftgate and a backup camera and sensors. In short, this thing is filled to its ceiling-mounted storage compartments with goodies.
