Chrysler Leaks the New Look of Next Pacifica

A teaser image showing the next Chrysler Pacifica from a front quarter angle.

Chrysler’s Pacifica has been on the market for over 10 years now and has made a name for itself as Chrysler’s flagship minivan. Despite mixed reviews, the vehicle remains a popular choice for some buyers, especially those with large families.

However, we haven’t seen many major upgrades to the vehicle in recent years. It received a refresh in 2021 with significant interior and exterior updates, but has remained pretty stagnant otherwise.

Until now, that is.

Modernized Front-End Design

Yesterday, Chrysler shared a series of pictures on their Instagram account that hint at a new look for the upcoming Pacifica. We expect the car to appear as a 2027 model. While the body remains relatively unchanged, the car’s front fascia sees some bold new styling upgrades.

The Pacifica swaps horizontal headlights for vertical ones with light bars, a trend we know is becoming popular among new vehicles. We see less grille action on this new model, and a seemingly redesigned Chrysler logo up front and center.

Since pictures are all we have to go on, we can’t be 100% sure if we’ll see any drastic changes in the interior or under the hood. However, the design choices they’ve implemented seem to hint at an electric vehicle, and we know that Stellantis has been vocal about moving toward an all-electric lineup.

Looking Ahead

As of now, the Pacifica remains Chrysler’s only vehicle that receives regular updates. Yes, the Voyager is still being produced, but it’s essentially a Pacifica that’s been stripped down to be more affordable, which makes it ideal for commercial use.

Again, that leaves it down to the Pacifica. With this being the only vehicle in their lineup with an outreach, dealers want more to work with. Chrysler has teased a lot for 2026, an electric crossover, but we’re not seeing any progress towards releases anytime soon. Perhaps this mini facelift is a step in the right direction, but people would be a bit more encouraged to see actual development in Chrysler’s lineup.
