- Cadillac has launched a new customization service for its 2026 CT5-V Blackwing performance sedan

You can purchase a 2026 Cadillac CT5 in any of nine colors, including two different whites and three grays. But if you want the extraordinary CT5-V Blackwing, you can pick almost any color you like.
For the uninitiated, the CT5 is Cadillac’s midsize sports sedan – a tech-filled luxury cruiser with a choice of a V6 or a turbocharged 4-cylinder engine. The Blackwing version is to the standard CT5 like Superman is to Clark Kent. The CT5-V Blackwing gets a 6.2-liter supercharged V8, a magnetorheological suspension, carbon fiber almost-everything, and an app to keep track of your lap times.
Blackwing models are rare and pricey (starting at $101,195 after delivery, more than twice the $48,090 entry price of the CT5). But they are among the world’s most extreme performance sedans, built to challenge BMW M Cars and Mercedes-AMG’s 4-door cars.
For 2026, Cadillac will go all-in on customizing the Blackwing. The company this week launched Curated by Cadillac, a new customization program that “offers access to a sophisticated array of distinct vehicle colors, premium materials and refined finishes.”

The program lets buyers order from more than 160 exterior colors, “each hand-painted by artisans to show quality standards.” Interiors use “An expanded selection of colors and materials that can be mixed and matched in millions of different combinations.”
Like the customization program for the Cadillac Celestiq ultra-luxury sedan, it involves working with a concierge to design your custom Caddie. Cadillac hired the concierges from the “fashion, entertainment, fine arts, and design” industries.
The experience isn’t completely unique. Porsche has long offered something similar through its Porsche Manufaktur program, while Range Rover introduced its own customization service in 2023.
What they all have in common, however, is extraordinary cost. Because each Curated by Cadillac model is unique, each will have its own sticker price. But Cadillac says the customized Blackwing “starts at approximately $158,000 including destination freight charge, and excluding tax, title, and dealer fees.”
